Viento South (2024-Current) . Independent music project. Latin American folk music project where Paulina’s strong and subtle voice meets the ingenious harmony of Lucho’s guitar to awaken listeners’ deep emotions through original songs and global repertoire. 9-11: Immersive triptych (2020-Current). Independent artistic project, where musical composition and immersive sound experiences were mixed.

Binaural acoustic monitoring system for the classification, characterization, and evaluation of the acoustic quality of urban environments to contribute to environmental design and management processes (2021-2023). A research project funded by Colombia’s Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

Gaita Colombiana Sound quality study (2021-2022) Project funded by the Universidad de San Buenaventura-Bogotá, where students of the acoustic quality hotbed study the Gaita’s timbre variation after modifying its body materials.

Menorca island soundscape (Spain) as intangible cultural and environmental heritage (2019-2020). Project funded by the Instituto Menorquí de Estudios (IME) to characterize and update the soundscape database of the Menorca island through different year seasons.

Con la lavadora a fondo (2020). Project funded by the Radio Televisión Nacional de Colombia, which encouraged artists to develop musical projects from their homes under the Covid 19 narrative. I participated in the «El Cantor de su encierro» modality with the song «En Pié «

Comparison of the Bandola Andina Colombiana construction techniques (2019). Project funded by Universidad de San Buenaventura Bogotá and implemented by the Acoustic Quality hotbed students.

Smart-Cities Prototype: Design and implementation of a digital prototype for noise analysis and soundscapes in city areas (2019). Project developed in partnership with the Metropolitan University Network of Bogotá (RUMBO) where sound georeferenced layers from Bogotá-City were developed, using cartographic tools with objective and subjective aspects.

Urpi Barco & Lucho Hermida: Canciones con la orquesta universal (2014-2019). Independent musical and research project that mixes songs with binaural soundscapes.

Development of a soundscapes assessment model according to spatial, temporal, subjective, and contextual aspects (2016-2019). Doctoral thesis. In this model, engineering elements, environmental psychology, and human sciences converge with environmental acoustic management processes.

Urban Acoustic Quality: cartographic tools for the urban sound quality assessment (2018). This project studied the acoustic environment assessment under the soundscape approach using cartographic tools, including objective and subjective aspects, and was funded by the Universidad de San Buenaventura.

Bandola Andina Colombiana Sound quality assessment (2018). Project funded by the Universidad de San Buenaventura Bogotá.

Urban public spaces sound quality In situ evaluation (2017). This project evaluated urban parks’ soundscapes at Bogotá city and was funded by the Universidad de San Buenaventura Bogotá

Urban acoustic environments evaluation: in mid of the noise control and the sound perception (2016). Project of the Applied Acoustics research group funded by the Universidad de San Buenaventura Bogotá

Interactive Soundscapes: Rediscovering Brasília’s Metropolitan Bus Station (2014-2016). This was my Master’s degree project where artistic, technological, semiotic, and sonorous aspects interacted. From a theoretical approach was developed a sound installation trilogy. Part of this project was presented at the National Museum of Brasilia (In the framework of the #13.ART Meeting of Art and Technology) and at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (in the framework of Understanding Visual Music (UVM) 2015)). This project was funded by the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES).
